Policies: Since our webmaster no longer lives on site, we have adopted a website update schedule of twice per week, instead of six times per week. Customers who spot their life's dream on the site should call ahead to verify inventory, before heading in - especially if they live 'way out past Ft Mudge. (Kudos to Mr Walt Kelly!)

Access: The City of Warren has notified us that Nine Mile Road will be placed under construction from Dequindre Road to Ryan Road, from 3 May until 14 November. They assure us that access to our premises will continue to be open, although, perhaps, constrained: only one lane eastbound and one westbound will usually be open. We regret any inconvenience this may occasion.

Products: We now have two 20-round boxes of .307 Winchester ammunition in stock, for the gentleman who was seeking some about a week ago.

Products: Finally, an explanation - from the horse's mouth. Brother Greg, Tech Maven at Jimenez Arms explains the magazine problems suffered by some owners of the J.A.380: it's the gunfood. The J.A.380 is picky about cartridge length, and truncated-cone bullets, such as those used by Winchester in its "white box" .380, are just too long in the wrong places. Avoid Winchester "white box" - and other truncated-cone rounds, such as some hollow-points - and you should be fine.

Policies: Henceforth, when we agree to receive guns for customers, we will expect them to be picked up within 60 days. After that, a $5/month storage fee will be assessed.

Feedback: A Family Member dropped his Jimenez J.A.380 off for cleaning, not too long ago. Seems he's put a box of ammo through it every week for the last four months (over 900 rounds), only giving it a bit of oil now and then. Seems it had started to jam a bit as he approached 1,000 rounds, and he wanted us to clean the gun for him (and show him how to field-strip it). Not too bad for a $180 pistol.

Policies:

As many of you know, the entire gun market has been growing less and less rational, since the Democratic primary confirmed the candidacy of Barack Obama. Since November, demand has exceeded supply by an ever-increasing degree until, now, most popular guns and their ammunition are virtually unobtainable through normal retail channels. Because of this, many retailers have begun rationing ammunition sales, linking ammunition sales to gun sales, or both. We are one such retailer: we have so little of many calibers on hand that we will now only sell those calibers in conjunction with a matching gun sale. We regret any inconvenience this may occasion, and hope that the market returns to some sort of normalcy soon.
